Enfield Bought in 1982. It takes traditional FF black powder, and winged percussion caps. .58/ .577 caliber. Very good condition. Accurate up to 300 yards with military grade sights. Extensively used by the Confederate army during the Civil War.
It's never had lead fired through it. It was a reenactment piece only. I reenacted from 13 years old until 26. The cost of the hobby just got too expensive.
I also have a Confederate shell jacket, and a handmade Union shell jacket. Lined with muslin. Very warm. My ex wife was a seamstress. Included is a Cartridge box like new never used. Detailed pictures upon request.
