You must be very careful feeding the castrated goat.
Must
* eat mostly brush *regular grass hay.
* small amount of goat specific feed
(to make sure it has a calcium to phosphorus ratio of 2 or 2.5 to 1)
*goats specific mineral (so that your goat will get enough mineral in the correct proportions.)
* Fresh water (be available at all times.)
*. Use an Acidifier of some kind such as Amonium Chloride daily
(some feed already has it in it.). ( Tucker mills goat feed is a good example.)
Never Ever in a (castrated goat)
* give feed meant for other animals.
* feed corn as it is high in phosphorus and causes Urinary Calculi
* Bermuda grass also high in phosphorus
* Alfalfa high in Calcium can cause Urinary Calculi
