In this class we will discuss sustainable ways to raise animals .
I tailor each class to the audience so all your questions get answered. This allows for the maximum interest to you.
Why / purpose for raising animals? Types of animals
Learn responsibility and empathy for animals .
Goats provide
clearing land of brush , milk for you or your animals, Fiber / wool , compost /fertilizer for plants.
Fences , housing, feed, rain water catchment for animals and people
Proper care of animals to prevent disease and malnutrition
Plants
Bushes for shade , fruit
Trees for shade , fruit
Pollinators
It’s a lot of fun and great for all ages! This is a great session for folks interested in beginning with goats or other animals such as chickens, ducks, Muscovy ducks, geese, guinea fowl, turkeys, rabbits etc. as well as those wanting to become self reliant or profit from their homestead.
Children’s classes : up to 3 hrs.
Adult classes. 3 hours . ( with demonstrations )
If you need to leave sooner there's no problem.
If bad weather,
we will go inside goat houses and pens so class is still on.
