Below are before and after pics. Take a close look, a lot of work was done.
Job is located on 30A. Before remodel he had house listed as beach rental and only rented it
out to 2 clients in 1 year. Since remodel house has been scheduled full time. He has already made the cost of project back +.
We extended bottom deck out 7'. The shingle shake material we installed as siding on first floor is a plastic roofing material. The color is all the way thru. We were the first to use it as siding. The rest of the house was cement board, Board and Batton. Added 16' entrance stairway with stringers set at 10" on center to support the Trex decking. Trex decking was also installed all the way to the 3rd floor. Entire house had decking that wrapped the house on 3 sides. Wrapped columns around whole house with cement board. Notice the unique style the colums were wraped and the windows, and doors were trimed. Installed Red Wood ballesters. Installed new 10' window, very nice. Had to build a 13' header to support the weight of all 3 floors above window. Hand built and installed louvers and stainless steel cableing around deck, 1 of a kind custom work. New deck railing, look at custom top and bottom rails. You won`t see that design anywhere else. Installed Awning on first floor to completely dry first floor in, so all furniture stayed dry. Metal Roofing and tongue and grove base. All material was the new cement board, very hard to work with. Decked underneath the bottom of house to create huge amounts of owner storage and Installed 2x12s all the way around to secure it, with entrance on both sides of house. Remodeled Interior etc... Completely changed the apperance of the home inside and out.
